Hello all,

I recently made myself a packer harness out of the elastic strap of an old pair of boxers, and a hardware-store rubber ring. I'm very active/athletic, so the packer not falling out of my pants is a must. This harness seems to be keeping the packer secure in my pants, it cuts down on the sweat (and therefore, smell) from daily use, the placement is realistic, and it's fairly comfortable. The one problem is that it looks like I have an erection.

I am wondering if this is because of the size of the packer? It's probably between 2 to 2 1/2 inches long, and the ring props it in an upright position, instead of letting it hang down. Do I need a larger packer in order to make the harness work or did I sew the ring wrong, or something?

Thanks in advance for any advice!

I bet you will get a lot of advice on this.  There are a lot of creative types here (not me, though ).  What is the brand/model of the packer?  That will help people in diagnosing the problem.

I'm pretty confident that it's just the nature of most packers.  They tend to give you that "erect" look unless they're specifically designed to hang in a more natural position (which most aren't).

Some guys wear tighter-fitting undies to "squish" the shaft down or use something like old nylon pantyhose to slip over the packer itself to keep it tucked.

My packer definitely gives a slight boner look. I think it's just the way it goes with packers. Wearing tighter underwear does help quite a bit with this one.

It's quite old, but I believe it's a Mango? Three-ish inches? I'm just wondering if a longer one might hang better, since this one is sticking straight up -- even when I'm wearing jeans, it looks like I have a raging hard-on.
