Now the greatest night yet!
My son and I went to buy groceries and other things for the house tonight. I was talking to the checker while she rang things up and jokingly mentioned my son would have it eaten in a day or two. What happened next put any fears of passing or how people see me to rest. She said," How big was he when you gave birth to him"? OMG! OMG! <MIND BLOWN>!! I said 7lbs, 8oz which is true. She then asked, "How long were you in labor"? OMG! I thought back and had to remember how long my ex was in labor and told her. She said I did a good job because he was very respectful and seems very intelligent. After everything was bagged and paid for no jackhammer could have chiseled the smile off my face. As we walked to the car my son said, "Jeez, you really are a woman aren't you". I said, "yes, I was and if you don't want me going hormonal on you clean your room tomorrow". He broke out in a huge grin and said, "Yea ma'am"! This was about 5 hours ago and I am still riding the high. It truly was the best night yet!
