I hope many more are on the way, Mom.
Claire you should have seen the smile on my face as I read this!  :) I really needed last night as a kind of reinforcement of all the work I have done until now. It was so wonderfully validating.  :)

Great to hear.

Now write this down and keep it in a place where you can easily find it (also mark it on a calender ) and next time you start to feel you are having a melt down bring that paper out and read it until you feel better :P
I will never have another moment of doubt. Last night kind of sealed any doubts I ever had about myself. I wrote it in my journal and even saved the checkout receipt!  :)

My clouds are gone forever! I know there will still be problems as every life has, but I will handle them just fine now.  :)

First, I want to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and support after my latest melt down. I am really trying hard to deal with them a little whole lot better. I will remember your support forever! Thank you again!!  :)

Now the greatest night yet!
My son and I went to buy groceries and other things for the house tonight. I was talking to the checker while she rang things up and jokingly mentioned my son would have it eaten in a day or two. What happened next put any fears of passing or how people see me to rest. She said," How big was he when you gave birth to him"? OMG! OMG! <MIND BLOWN>!! I said 7lbs, 8oz which is true. She then asked, "How long were you in labor"? OMG! I thought back and had to remember how long my ex was in labor and told her. She said I did a good job because he was very respectful and seems very intelligent. After everything was bagged and paid for no jackhammer could have chiseled the smile off my face. As we walked to the car my son said, "Jeez, you really are a woman aren't you". I said, "yes, I was and if you don't want me going hormonal on you clean your room tomorrow". He broke out in a huge grin and said, "Yea ma'am"! This was about 5 hours ago and I am still riding the high. It truly was the best night yet! ^-^ ^-^
Such a nice story. That is great GF. That is so nice that your son understands who you are.

Well the way you make him sound, he shouldn't be embarrassed. That good of a guy and he will have the girls lined up around the block wanting to go out with him. Can you handle that though, Sis?

Somehow I figured your maternal instincts would kick in. ;) Just don't embarrass him too much OK?
