Pastafarianism isn't a real religion.  It was a response to religious idiocy which was amusing and clever.  Nobody actually believes in The Sauce or His Holy Appendage.

None of the people in this thread actually believe it, and it may have been started as a parody of religion, but I think you're giving people far too much credit by assuming there aren't some out there who take it seriously.
