So I took an Aspie quiz. No, it does not have any high regard to a doctor,

but it was interesting all the same.

I'm curious what others will get.

My results:

Thank you for filling out this questionnaire.

Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 91 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 111 of 200
You seem to have both neurodiverse and neurotypical traits

Did bother me a bit how the check box at the start asked for biological sex, but oh well

My Results:

Your neurodiverse (Aspie) score: 103 of 200
Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 96 of 200

A Strange picture:

I refuse to live in fear! Come hell or high water I will not back down! I will live my life!
But you have no life.
Ha. Even that won't stop me.

I will protect even those I hate, so long as it is right.

what a nasty triggering test. I cannot help but be reminded of the tests "experts" ran on me in childhood, treating me like an imbecile or deranged person .

Neurotypical experts? Don't make me laugh.

Only took this stupid proletest for fun.

Here's the results.

The shape looks like a bird! :)

I'm really annoyed by the results (PDF file) that delved into the detail about intimacy.

"This group contains neurotypical attachment traits. These neurotypical intimacy traits which defines the norm in society are sexual in nature and aim at creating and maintaining attachments
with sex. People that dislike this norm often identify as asexual instead to escape the expectations"

Which seems to imply that asexuality is not real and that people just use asexuality as an excuse to "escape" attachment. I might be projecting but that's how it sounds to me. Arghh! Interesting quiz though!

Not actually surprising.  Even though I have a professional diagnosis for AS, my interests, habits and ability to socially interact changed and even improved over time, mostly because I started understand the importance of social skills.  This time last year I'd have expected it to be more 50-50 leaning towards neurodiverse.  Several years ago, I'd have expected a stronger leaning towards neurodiverse.  When it comes to social interaction, people just say "nah, you're alright".  I'm glad my focus shifted to people during uni.

I know this is just for fun but I still had an issue with some of the questions, like the one on collecting and cataloguing information.  I only did it for information's sake when I was ten before "growing out" of the habit.  Nowadays, I only learn or take down information if it actually serves some practical purpose.  For example, I want to model a train station, so I've gathered information about routes and services as part of my planning and learning them has been useful as I often travel by train to that station.  It hardly strikes me as an aspie thing to do (although the hobby does appear to attract people with the condition), and it's the only area which I've handled information like this because I find it's the most effective way to plan.

I do the project thing. I will get so involved in whatever project catches my interest to the point of ignoring all else. Sooner or later that interest ends and another one takes its place in the same manner.  I never thought of it as an aspie trait.  I also don't like people in general and hate groups of people of more than like 5. Even 5 is stressful and I tend to withdraw, physically if possible, mentally if not.

I always hated the part of people saying I'm staring, but I'm not. Until this quiz, I also never thought of that as an aspie type thing. It just was. A number of things struck me as normal that this quiz has pegged as aspie stuff.

Again, it is not a diagnostic tool. It may show indications worthy of checking out, but that is all.
