So, today I was ecstatic to receive my Reel Magik 6" advanced prosthetic in the post.  I decided to write a basic all-round review.  I have linked pictures only as there is no-nudity requirement for the forums.

I ordered the Advanced Prosthetic with hand-punched (synthetic) hair (dark brown) in the M5 colour. 

Overall Look & Feel:

My first impressions of the product - absolutely stunning in regards to craftsmanship, paint job and hair.  The look is pretty much 100% lifelike.  I've never felt anything like the "skin" in my life - it moves even if you brush your fingers across it, just like real skin.  The balls are soft, light and incredibly "squishy" and skin-like.  A little firmer than I would have thought, but meh.  The shaft feels amazing.  Even when you press down into the "flesh", it returns to its original shape without distorting or wrinkling up at all.  The colour is nearly a 100% perfect match to my skin.  It's impressive in regards to the different shades used for the paint - the purplish tint to the head, the darker colour on the scrotum, the blue veins, even tiny dark red veins...

Packaging & Contents:

The kit came with a little information pamphlet and some cleaning spray.  The packaging was a plain brown box with the label reading "costume prosthetic" in the description.  The name "Reel Magik" did appear on the label, but unless someone knew what it was - they'd have no clue what was inside.

Weight & Texture:

The prosthetic is a little heavy, but lighter than my current play cock.  It's not shiny or slick - has a realistic skin-like feel to it.  You can apply cornstarch to it to give it a softer feel according to the directions - just like a typical packer.

Flexi-Rod (for erections):

The Flexi-Rod, at least in mine, does NOT make any manner of audible clicking sound like I've heard criticised before. 

As I've heard before, the erection is firm and holds its shape - but the angle of the cock is pointing downwards.  Not something that can really be fixed IMHO considering it's generally used for a pack-n-play.  Just a minor thing. 

Adhesive:

I immediately applied the adhesive as I dislike reviews of these kinds of products where the adhesive isn't commented on.  I shaved the pubic area (very dysphoria-inducing, but what can you do) and prepared the skin according to the instructions.  I cleaned the back of the tab with alcohol.  The adhesive is to be painted on with an old paintbrush or Q-tip in a thin layer over both the skin and the back of the tab.  After a few minutes, you join the tab to your body and hold it for a couple of more minutes.  Mine adhered pretty much straight away.

Wearing it:

It feels heavy and a bit odd walking around, but man - to look in the mirror and see myself naked for the first time with a male body was just indescribable.  No ugly, obvious harness - just a cock.

Packing & Sturdiness:

I haven't really played with it in any pants or undies yet - just still enjoying being nude for the first time!  I think it might be okay to pack with - it tends to come un-adhered around the edges of the tab when I sit - but I didn't quite shave my own hair up far enough I think, so it's not sticking as well as it should.

Penetration:

I've yet to try it out sexually - but I'll add that to this review once I have.  It does instruct you to use condoms with it - I don't want to jeopardise the paint job, so I'll probably take their advice on that.

I'll continue to update this thread as I use it more and learn more about it.  Overall, very pleased.  10/10 thus far...

I got the X-tra strength just to be safe.  Works quite well so far.  We'll see how it goes during play...

As you can see, it doesn't have the same positioning that the Emisil has (which, IMHO, is much more natural with the upturned positioning) - but because this prosthetic functions as a pack-n-play, you really can't expect it to sit upright when erect and still be able to be turned downwards for packing. *shrug*

So, the sex...

I'm going to have to get the tape kit from Lola Jake, methinks.  The way it felt, initially, was AMAZING.  It looked amazing - and my wife thought it felt 100% like the real thing (especially as we were using a condom).  It retains body heat, so it was nice and warm.  No complaints there.  The only thing, though - and I knew this would happen - was the adhesive.

Mind you, the dick didn't actually come off - but it came very close to it.  One more tug, had I not pushed it back down, and it would have disconnected.  When we first began, it was fairly secure - but especially with me being on top, the adhesive immediately came unattached from "down there" and left the whole dick hanging on by only the tab (which rests on top of your pubic bone).  The result was me thrusting with no movement of the penis at all, because it was pendulously hanging from my pubic bone and just staying put while my body moved since it was only attached at the one point. 

So what it ended up being was an awkward, nervous experience since I could hardly enjoy myself for worrying about the damn thing coming off (you can feel it slowly unattaching). 

I'll have to try it with the tape kit - otherwise, I'd only be able to use it for gentle sex or with her on top. *sigh*  Disappointing.

I remember reading about people waiting for a while for it to "set" after adhering it before having sex, but I think that was for another prosthetic.  What are your thoughts on that?  How long did you wait and do you think if you waited longer if it may have made a difference?  Also, have you left the house packing with it, or is that just an insane idea because it is so obvious in the pants?

Also, I didn't see the erect pictures in either of those links?  I went through both, they seemed to be the same.  Maybe you could link the erect pictures separate?

I am still so glad that you put all those pictures up for us to view.  I still get blown away by how amazing that thing looks.

I've heard from other people whose partners have used it how real it feels inside, that's another huge plus imo.

Yep, same.  I don't think it's possible to make one that will stay stuck to your body throughout the entire experience.

I had read about others doing this, too - which is why I waited over an hour for mine to "set" thinking it would help, but it didn't.  Even just wearing it around the house - I'm talking about having it on for 3+ hours - whenever I simply sit down, it immediately starts peeling off.

Haven't done this, yet.  I'm still debating on whether or not I do because you're right - it's pretty obvious in the pants.

Those are 100% the erect photos, mate.  It doesn't get any more erect than that, unfortunately.

Kreuzfidel, first off thanks so much for posting your review!   It's very detailed and the photos are great!  To me it seems like the tab has a lot more hair on it.  That's great because that was the only other slight complaint I had on mine.  I always thought the hair on the tab should have been thicker to FULLY camouflage the tab and now there is.  I saw you got the artificial hair.  I'm guessing the human hair will be just as thick.  Do you know anything about the human hair?

Great to hear that!  The clicking on mine basically went away after a few months.  It wasn't that loud when it clicked but it was still was slightly audible.

I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend that for you or anyone else getting a Reelmagik.   As I said on my open letter to Reelmagik thread I have had a horrible problem with glue build up on the tab and it now looks really gross back there.

Can I make a suggestion?  What works best for me is to apply a pretty thin layer just on the back of the prosthetic and then going to lay down and holding it for about 20 mins.  That seems to make it stick very well for me.

Very good suggestion. Actually most adhesives work better with thin layers and a little time to set. Less is more. The more is just going to be messy.

I've seen other pictures of users where the tab was really visible and the amount of hair was dispicably low (-1 for Reel Magik, not users fault ofcourse). Yep, I shaved my own (luckily my natural hair is pretty much the exact same colour as the RM's) and brushed the RM hair upwards so that it covered the tab and blended into my hair.

Hey man,  I know this post is from a while ago but wondering if you (or anyone else on this thread) can help.

Would you be able to let me know the actual measurements of your 6inch?
My 6 inch is 6 years old and offers significantly from the measurements on the reelmagik website. The insertable length is just about 4inches and girth just about 5. I want something a bit bigger but not sure if 8 is too big. I'm wondering if the newer 6 inch models than mine are truer to the measurements online?
