Finally on my terminal leave from the Army and starting to do some of the things I've been wanting. Been growing out my hair and even got my ears pierced at the end of August, the 29th in fact. Went a little crazy and got 3 matching for 6 total. Felt great to get something that most girls get when they're like 6, I had to wait till I was 29 lol. Attached a little picture, I still have my wig but I go through phases where I don't want to wear it because I'd rather be myself even if my hair makes it harder to look like a girl, my chest is starting to override hair soon.

Congrats!  I got mine pierced about four months ago, I felt the exact same way.  It was a fun rite of passage, super overdue.

Once when I was a teenager, I had hair down to the small of my back, and I was convinced to cut it for work... ...  Never again.  :)

Yeah it feels nice. Only draw back is if they get caught and there's 3 in each ear its super painful. Otherwise its nice to have some freedoms back that I gave up when I decided to serve, only one that sucks is my commander told me if I'm caught in women's clothes before Oct 23rd and he finds out I'll be punished under military law which is a bummer. Oct 23 is my official discharge.

Please play it safe in terms of getting caught dressed! But congrats on the pierced ears! AND growing out your hair. Good for you!

Ironically, some 40+ years ago when I got out of the service I started growing a beard and mustache. Still there...for now. I wish I'd continued shaving and grown out my hair - what was there even then. Little did I know at the time that my true gender is female. And btw, do some simple arithmetic and figure how long ago I could have had my ears pierced! And that is also still to come.

Congratulations on getting your ears pierced it is a great feeling to have them pierced. I have mine done about a month and a half ago myself. I had double piercings put into each ear and absolutely love it. BTW, thank you very much for your service to the country. Please keep us updated as to where you are in your transition, as you take steps along your journey.

Isn't it interesting how the pierced ears are a rite of passage for us?

I had mine done when I was 13, but I lived in a conservative country then, and got labeled all over.  Tough adolescence!

I did them again at university, and then gave them up for over a decade while I was married.

Five months ago I did them again.  This time they're gonna be permanent, yay!! :D

congrats on the ear piercing, it looks good. It seems like a right of passage getting your ears pierced.

I also got 3 holes in each ear.. but i never got them done all at once.. i did mine over a period of a few years.

age 19 when got first holes done
2nd set at age 21
got my navel done at 22
3rd set done at 24 and also a stud pierced into my nose.

future piercings... want my ear cartilages done, a piercing in my vaginal area... and maybe my nipples.. always wanted my nipples done.. and tongue piercing sounds like fun

any future piercing plans KittyKat ?

Right now I'm only thinking of possibly more on my ears, i don't know how I feel about face piercings but I keep seeing girls with a stud in their nose and  think its cute. Also not sure how pierced I want to get since I,m starting nursing school.

KittyKat.. i work in retail, so I too cant have too many facial piercing.. that why i need to keep all my piercings and tattoo's (have 2 of them) out of sight.

I wear a small diamond stud in my nose... you barely notice it.

+1 on the whole "rite of passage" thing. Seems so small to everyone else, but to us it's a body modification which takes us one small step closer to looking female; every tiny step is so important.  Had mine done recently and I absolutely love them.

Another +1 on the whole "rite of passage" thing. I got mine pierced right after deciding to transition. I love to wear dangly earrings, they help me feel feminine.

Congrats on the piercings and on starting nursing school!  My nursing school was unreasonably strict on piercings, so yeah, I would wait on those until you know for sure. A lot of nursing schools/instructors get really power trippy.  Plenty of the girls in my class had tiny nose studs, they just had to take them out for clinicals.  Good Luck!

I had mine pierced when I went full time, almost ten days ago =)

It was indeed a rite of passage! I can't take my earrings off for a while, so that helped me not going back to male mode.

I can't wait to be able to trade my earrings! I already have a pretty pair of blue earrings waiting =)

Got mine pierced early this year and rarely take them off, except to clean them and clean my ears.  ;D

When he was ready he showed it to his friends and they said he had created a great statue. And the sculptor said he hadn't created anything, the statue was always there, he just cleared away the small peices." Rambo III

It's actually been a month today. I can start to look into hoops and dangly earrings now  ^-^ . Of course for me I have to wait for my official Army discharge to dress freely, they said nothing about jewelry . Oh October 23rd how I long for thee.

Congrats Kitty, they look great and thankyou ever so much for serving your country. The country I live in has struggled to allow girls on the front line, you've proven that rule wrong!

I had a single piercing when I was 15, but now I would love to have my ears pierced. Only thing I wonder is when I have to present in boy mode for work  :eusa_doh:

What does everyone think, I mean do you think it would look odd or be a big issue? I mean I've seen guys with both ears pierced before
