Superman ice cream. It's sort of complicated and different flavors mixed, but it's really just its own distinct taste. You don't see it everywhere and you may not notice it at every ice cream parlor, but it can stand out if spotted. Those who taste it want it all the time, and those who don't try it are quick to criticize it for being weird.

I feel like it would be something complicated and fancy. You go to the local creamery that has all the thoughtful small batch concoctions, and the kids don't get it but your refined palate loves the novelty and complexity, and your knowledge of the experience gives you a valuable tidbit of insider info that translates well to easy social capital. All the foodies in the suburbs would go out of their way to try some, and a cone of us would cost more than most people pay for a meal. Everybody would forget it quickly as they moved on to truffle fries and sprouted prison bread and goat yogurt and vietnamese street food fusions, but that transgender ice cream would be a solid little brick in lots of people's intricate personality constructions.

Lol we'd probably be liked a lot more if we were ice cream, but most things would be liked a lot more if they were ice cream.
