Hello everyone...can I offer anyone a cuppa joe whilst we chat?

I'm a sorta newbie here. I visited once, but the road and life got in my way and delayed my return till now. I can almost see your smiling face knowing that I'm back!

A wee bit about me; I'm about 7 years post op now. Did the Bangkok thing with dr Chet and never looked back. I returned to begin life anew and what a new life it is. To say the least.

As I sit here this early fall day, I feel rather good. I got married to a nice guy, have been busy just being a wife, a nag, and a friend to those friendly. Together DH and I have been through his bladder/colon cancer treatments and all the stuff that goes with that. We live in Alabama, but have bought a home in Maine ( my home state) and use it in the summer. This will be my eventual permanent home in the years ahead after Rich crosses the bar ( hopefully a few years away). Rich is an older person, and should the fates allow, he will continue to be grouchy and upset when I use the credit card too much...yikes

Anyways, I know you are probably busy and such, but thank you for your time and interest in my humble life. I hope to get to know a few of you in the years ahead.

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Welcome to Susan's, Christin. Congrats on seven years of being post-op. I pray that DH will be cancer free.
