Hi my name is Kae and I'm 24 going on 25. I'm ftm and hoping to transition once I've got my finances in order. Also a college student so I'm trying to see what kind of resources available are open for me as a student though I am aiming to graduate in the spring 2015. I found this site through my friend Trini and I hope to talk to some interesting people here and get some insight on other people's experiences. I honestly believe I've been dealing with dysphoria most of my life, but I've just sort of dealt with it, and added to my introverted nature. I'm not officially diagnosed, but I knew that even pre-puberty I felt more like a boy and didn't feel right wearing female uniforms and having to wear dresses during formal events. What really opened me up to the idea of expressing my gender identity more fully was cosplay. Cosplay really allowed me the freedom to express myself more freely, especially for my body type. I'm not exactly thin, my BMI tells me I'm technically obese, though I've managed to lose some weight this past summer. I'm also Asian, so trying to pass myself off as masculine or male is pretty difficult, with a "baby" face. That's it for my intro, once again hi to everyone who takes the time to read this, I can be pretty longwinded with intros on the interwebs. .
