Employment question

I can no longer hide the female features so I figure it is time to come out at work and I have a question maybe somebody could answer for me.
My company is based in Minnesota and I live there too, but I work at another location in Wisconsin. MN has employment protection for GID and our company is supposed to be diverse. However since I do work in another state would they have a reason to fire me if I transition on the job.
I am a very valued employee to the company but I am still worried!

If your really ready to transition at work, you need to talk with the Human Resource department.

Mn laws don't protect you in wisconsin, but then again if they really wanted to fire you there are always ways.  That said, If they value you, they should still value you after.  My boss was more then a little worried about my transistion on the job, but really it was no big deal.  Of course by the time everyone else knew, I had already made the complete transition to female clothing, makeup etc.  Just did it small steps.  It's been 4 months for me know and gee everyone is fine with me as me.

Be brave and be yourself.  OK I was scared to death when I told my boss.  Tough day, but it's all behine me now

Check the laws in wisconsin, its the state your working out of that counts not where the company is bassed. <though most employers base there rules and regulations off there home state> Let HR know what your planing to do and work with them on it... it eases the whole process...
