I like pink, purple and lavender; and have shirts in those colors. They have not been just female colors for several years.
I agree wholeheartedly with you on this.
I'm not very feminine (in this particular sense). If I had a very obvious female body, long hair, and makeup on, you'd definitely see a woman as my body language and gestures are far from masculine, but I don't see myself ever wearing dresses, lace and pumps. I do happen to like pink, though! It really complements my skin tone. I wear far more black and red, though. I wear pink when I'm feeling a bit more "girly" than usual. It's all very psychological, though. It's a standard color for girls, as blue is for boys. But as others have said, just wear whatever the heck you want! If you go overkill then maybe that's just what you were going for!
Thanks for the excellent advice! As said I'm gonna start taking stock of my life and stop letting people run my life for me and just do what I feel is best for me!
I think she may have just been letting you know that you don't have to adhere to stereotypes to appear feminine.
That's a good idea there, and I don't really adhere to that many stereotypes to express my being a woman.
