I take my hormones exactly 12 hours apart daily. Literally 8:30 AM, and 8:30 PM. It works wonders for me. Anyways, the other day I took it at 10 AM. By the following day my skin was rough, and my pores were bigger. I immediately began taking it on time, I got a facial and neck massage, and my skin is again baby like. It had to be the hormones, I made no other changes!

It's crazy how individual hormones are, I've been off E for about three weeks purely out of my laziness (can't be bothered to go and pick it up lol), and I literally feel no different, no changes whatsoever, even when I am high on E, I can't even cry or feel emotional, so weird :D but it's good

I find it hard to believe that anything can happen in 2 hours other than mood changes. Maybe it's the psychological effect?

I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
Post-op since late 2005

LOL it's so funny finding this because I experience the same thing. I miss a day or a few hours and I start seeing my skin getting all oily. I'm also overly conscious smelling like a man :D
Nothing ventured nothing gained

I read somewhere that the half-life of estradiol is 16.9 hours +/- 6.0 hours.  I noticed that my skin gets dry and flaky on some days, and oily other days depending on fluid intake, exercise level, sun exposure and use (or not) of moisturizers.  Some days I space on taking my E, and that's not a big difference, but if I miss two days, my brain starts to malfunction.
