Quite honestly at 5' 7" I am envious of taller women, they always look so much prettier in their clothes, most of the female models range from 5' 10" to 6+ feet tall. There is nothing prettier than long shapely legs on a woman!

With shoes, I am 5'5" 2/3, but without them, probably around 5'5". I am actually quite short, though I am taller than most old ladies, however nowadays girls are getting taller and taller. In my grade (12th) I felt like I was an average taller girl, but just the grade below, I feel like I am rather average for a girl. I think both boys and girls are getting much taller these days!!! So, more power to the lovely tall t girls and women!!

I'm 6' even. I used to be closer to 6'1" before starting HRT though. It's definitely taller than I would like to be, but considering that my brother is nearly 6'3", things could have been worse...

I've just done another "Vanishing Act".  It used to be the male version of it: 5'8", 5'7", 5'6", Poof!  You're gone!  You don't actually exist any more.

Now, if you look at the above poll, I've just done the MTF Vanishing Act: 5'6", 5'5", 5'4", Poof!  You're gone!  And yet there are quite a few ciswomen who are smaller than me.

For the record I'm 5'3", 110 pounds, shoe size generally 5-5 1/2.  It's a good size to be.  Actually one of the big advantages in coming out of the closet: at long last you can start finding clothes that fit you.  Finding male clothes (especially shoes) for someone my size can be a problem.  So I'm happy at long last to be me.

I wish I could find cute shoes in size 11!

Cate, I am exactly an inch taller than you, which based on the poll right now makes me about 2nd tallest person so far. I might be tall, but I also weighed 158 this morning, which about gives me the weight / height ratio of a super model. I know I standout in regards to my height, and the smart advice would be not to wear heels, but I absolutely love them, and they make my legs look a lot better. I know that when I go clubbing, I am likely going to be tallest person on the dance floor of either gender.  The harsh lighting in the picture below does nothing for my face, but you can see my height pretty clearly. With those boots, I am about 6'8".  I hate the whole idea of blending in, for the sake of blending in. I rather get noticed than be invisible.

I'm the tallest girl here I believe that has voted at 6"7"

My shoe size is a women 11-13W depending on the shoe.

I'm 250, so not super model proportions, (US Women's size 16). I'd like to get to 210 or so. My HRT doctor considers my weight healthy for my age and height, and my cholesterol is 189 and my BP is 110/70.

When wearing heals I try not to go over 3 inches because then I hit door frames walking into most rooms. I have met one cis-woman my height and another cis woman that was 6'8", so tall cis girls are out there, just very rare. My height has never clocked me (I haven't been clocked since March), but I do get a lot of attention and I've been complimented by both men and women on my height. I had one guy nearly drool at me at the bank a few weeks ago.

I'm apparently around 5'2", size 5 (UK) feet.

As a guy I went crazy trying to get elegant clothes and shoes.  How things have changed...

I'm just barely 5'8" on a good day, and started out at 5'9.5". I'm also about 155 lbs, but I'm also one of those dense people that look about 10 lbs lighter than my actual weight.

Hehe~ Sorry, Julia. I had to cut it off somewhere, and 5'4" seemed like a reasonable place at the time I was making it. I wasn't expecting there to be so many people below that height. I'd go back and expand the poll, but since people have already voted in the "below" category...

Anyway, you have my envy, being such an absolutely adorable height.

5'10 too

size 10 for shoes. I actually love my shoe size since in every shoe store its usually stocked since a lot of women around here don't have that size. But I always run into tall ladies in the 10 section so it makes me feel better about my height. Buying new shoes is sooo therapeutic   ;D

5'7" and 9.5 shoe; I lost about an inch of height and a shoe size on HRT, and I'm not complaining. :)

Average height of women around here seems to be *slightly* shorter than I am; maybe 5'6" or so. I can live with that.

5'11". I hate my height!  And the size 13 feet that go with it.   I am the tallest in my family, what luck.

I'm 6', but otherwise what you wrote is true of me as well.

180 cm or 5'11" here, I heard that was the average for men in the Nordics (165cm or 5'5" for women). Of course a smaller frame would help with passing but as long as the HRT does its job with my face I'm fine. Might even become a source of pride. Funnily enough like Ali & Kaydee said I'm also the tallest in my family with two brothers. I wonder if they'll feel any inadequacy post-transition :D

Size 10 for shoes (we might need a poll for this too  ^-^) took more work for me to accept, or really, I just stopped thinking about it at some point. It's mostly a nuisance when going shopping and then most shops don't have that size or they stop at 9,5. grrr.

Well I'm 5 ft 8 and weigh 141lb, which is pretty good I guess, (I have a pretty low bmi so I think it is) I do have size 11 feet though which sucks, I feel so out of proportion :p
