The time has come to begin my own personal journey to being myself!

I've been an archaeologist and lurking on this site reading up on topics, reading other people's experiences and they all been helpful and informative.

Well...

Starting Sunday (10/12/2014), I'll be starting my first dose of Spiro and Estradiol and get things started! :D

It came at a good time too because as of posting this topic, I am in the lowest point of my life right now. I'm just.... tired right now.

Really really tired and frustrated with who I am currently and I need a change for the better.

I have a great support system with great loving friends, my doctor is great, and will be seeing a very nice therapist more often in L.A, and I couldn't be happier.

I'm naturally excited, although still have a bit of nervous jitters with the hormones (on the health risk front) .

I'm ready for the ride and hoping you ladies support me in my journey. <3
(I'll obviously be posting more often in the related topics, now that I'm transitioning. :D )

I still remember my first pill! In the parking lot outside of the pharmacy, I couldn't even wait to get home to take them

Congratulations!

I recommend monitoring the amount of water you drink.

In my car I drink 50 ounces of water and so on.

First time I popped the pills in, I was really really thirsty and went to the bathroom a lot, also had fluid retention in my gut.

Next day (today) I'm less thirstier and needed to go to the bathroom less. The fluid has normalized as well, so I'm assuming my body is getting used to the spiro and Estridiol. I'm feeling my face and it's feeling more smoother. Also I'm a tad more calm now.

Things are going good, cannot wait for the next changes coming up.
