This is part of the video which I have talked about on here a zillion times "what sex am I?"  featured in the mid 80's.  IMO one of the best I have seen. :)  I'm very glad someone put it in youtube after all these years.

it's girls like her - girls so undeniably female you can't see anything but a woman even when you know she's TS - that will change how we are seen.

I do see a sort of stilted manerism I often see in TS in my support groups, hopefully I'm not like that, but only a camera following me could say for sure. Also, the bosing's kind of obvious too me, especially lying down, but I've always been very sensible to it because it drove me mad and had it removed (so certainly nobody else would care).

I hate the hair and makeup of the 80's so much that somehow I can get pass that :-).
Even when I lived through it (I'm 40), I did not like it then, and certain don't like it now.

Come on, look at her as she approaches the counter. I'm not making this up.
Like I said, I've seen plenty of TS (I've been in the gender clinic system for 16 years...
So I've got plenty of experience with this.

There's bossing. I clearly said that I'm very sensible to it because I got rid of mine
(and it was probably not more than hers), so there... I couldn't live with mine even
if it wasn't that big. I spot it when maybe most won't, but I already said that. Why
the "ego" jab?

I don't know why any criticism of little details is seen as a wholesale attack.
What next, comment that I should like the hair and makeup!!

I don't see anything & I've watched the video many times.   It is an ego jab!  so sorry but it is!

I'm really not seeing anything out of the ordinary for a genetic woman.

Purple Pimp

I did think that it was a little odd, the way she approached the counter, holding the purse at the crook of the elbow and the arm parallel to the ground.  Very... coquettish.  On the other hand, she's from the South, and it's the 1980s, reminds me of Delta Burke on "Designing Women" at just about the same time.

The holding of the purse is one of the things, its more than odd, I've never seen anyone in real life hold it that way, I didn't want to say what I saw to not influence others (and there a few other things) except in TS groups and maybe in sterotypical movies. Even in movies and docs of the south of the period, I don't think I've seen it; it looks stilted. That's my opinion. Take it as that. BTW, I didn't say I didn't have my own stilted manerism, who knows, I don't have anybody filming me.
