How healthy is it to make eggs in a microwave? I'm told that it's healthier?  I used a bowl to put the eh on it and poke the yoke so it didn't explode.

Actually lol when I first did it, the freaking egg exploded all inside!  I freaked out. But then I poked the yoke and it worked beautiful

I hope so too! because I poach them the way you do in the microwave.  but I wasn't sure if it was healthy or safe. I don't have gas in the house so I can't use the stove ugh

I wouldn't do it, I don't like bacon nuked either. If I were in your situation, I'd get a hotplate.

It works fine. One of my favorite breakfasts involves putting leftover polenta or wild rice in a bowl, cracking a couple of eggs over it. and nuking it for a couple of minutes. No fuss, no added fat, and minimal cleanup. I put a paper towel over the bowl to hold in the heat and prevent any spatters, but it never seems to be messy.
Never bring an umbrella to a coyote fight.
