Hi

So I went for it and bought my first binder and had it delivered this week - an Underworks 997. Overall I'm really pleased, and shocked what a difference it's made, even to my chest (36F). I can finally wear shirts that I couldn't get on before because they just didn't close right  ;D

Before I bought it, I read quite a few reviews on here that said it was great, but the one problem was this kind of under arm extra tissue thing. I'm in need of losing a bit of weight and that's definitely happening to me. Any advice on how to help stop this? I'm planning to wear it to a works night out tonight and although the chances are it will still go on, I'll be paranoid about this. The drastic different it makes probably means people that know me will look. My plan is to wear it with a loose fitting shirt, so it's not massive, but it would be good if there was something relatively simple that I could do.

Looking at it, I think one of the problems is how short I am. I'm having to fold up the bottom to fit it in my trousers without it bunching up and the straps just feel a bit long. Is there another binder that would be better for me? I'm planning on buying another one any way so that I can wear one most of the time I'm outside the house.

Any advice really would be appreciated.  :)

You may want to layer your clothes (binder, vest, t shirt, button up) to prevent people from noticing. That's what I do, usually, and it works pretty well for me.
You can try folding the straps on themselves a little to see if that helps with the length. Safety pin them until you're sure, and sew them that way if it works. That could also resolve the length issue.
As far as other binders go, I've tried probably seven different kinds, but the only one that's ever worked for me is the 997. Everything else just gives me uniboob, and I'm a DD. Due to the size of your problem children, I think full length is going to be your best bet. Underworks does also offer a t shirt style binder, so that might work better for you.
The more I know, the more I know I don't know.
