And habaneros always go in my guacamole.  Just don't touch your privates after handling them?  :o

Ouch! Yeah, I found that out the hard way.  :embarrassed:

Did anyone start getting cravings for particular foods since starting HRT???

I don't know why but I'm like always craving pickles now and I use to like them. But now...I can eat a bunch and poof I suddenly crave more of them. lol

It sounds like a cliche but I really started eating a lot of pickles too.  I never ate pickles much before, but I started buying them by the gallon, and a gallon only lasted a week or two.  I'd often eat two big pickles with a sandwich.

I went off MTF HRT 2 weeks ago and I don't think I've had a pickle since.  Go figure :D

Salt!!!! I'm eating some salt and vinegar chips right now but I really shouldn't since they are high in potassium  :eusa_naughty:

And spicy foods too. Everything tastes more bland to me these days and i'm reaching for the salt and pepper shakers a lot more often.

And..... i finally understand the woman-chocolate connection; i went thru a period where i could not get enough chocolate and I used to not care one whit about it in my previous life. I even have bags of chocolate candy hiding in my desk at work just in case a sudden urge hits

Hmmm Chocolate! *nom* *nom* *nom*

Seriously, I have devoured so much Lindor in the last few weeks.

Lindor, yumm!!! They're one of my favs too the ones with the liquid chocolate in the middle and they're shaped like spheres?
Super yummy but I eat them in moderation...they are Soooooo so bad for you. Lots of saturated fat and it's the really bad kind. Be careful kay? :)

Yeah Lindt Lindor. They were especially cheap a few weeks ago. Worked my way through all the varieties available (except caramel, too sweet for me and chocolate orange *bleurgh*). They don't contain trans fat here in the European version that I'm aware of.

It's now back to regular cheap block dark chocolate for me. Craving it badly right now as I'm in the office.

Oh okay. I don't recal anything about trans fat either but it's been a while since I had any. Just remember looking at the nutritional values and was like omg, these will kill meh. But ate em anyways hahaha

Same I don't like the orange or caramel ones either.

Dark chocolate is better for ya :)
Oh and I like Cadbury milk chocolate bars too omg

OMG I thought I was the only one.  Yes, right after I started and for a few months after I would get hit with intense cravings for certain foods!  Mostly ice cream.  It calmed down at some point, but I'm not sure exactly when....

I noticed I have random specific cravings. But they aren't specific. Normally I would just be "I am hungry and need food." Now its "I really want a freaking bagle right now!" Or something.

...

Just re-read this scanning for where I left off and my mouth started watering at the thought of green olives and dark chocolate, together! Wow!

Recently I've been devouring entire tubs of roasted garlic hummus with wholewheat pitas, kalamata olives and a dip of freshly squeezed lemon juice, EVOO and S & P. Sooo good.

Chocolate and salt. Good lord, we're all having the same cravings! I salt my food until I taste the salt, then I add salt and then I add more salt. I'm eating salt with food added to it.

Yeah, my wife used to devour an entire bag of potato chips in a sitting. Now, she has to fight me for it or buy her own. Salt and vinegar is a personal weakness of mine.

I love things salty, chocolatey, spice and/or sour like never before.

Definitely chocolate and oreos lol they're just my weakness ::)
Why not craving a nice pot of lettuce or broccoli?   :P but noo,  had to crave fattening stuff hahaha
When I was younger there was this commercial on TV where this little boy would stop in front of the vegetable area in a grocery store and start begging his mom to buy broccoli, like kids do when they want a toy hahaha wish I was like him... Haha
