Hey guys, I'm new to this.
Well i just need some advice. Just some background info. I'm Ray and i am a ftm. Long story short
I love basketball and i really want to tryout for the boys sophomore basketball team. I've been told by many people that I'm really good and why not take the risk? Some problems are that the coaches don't know (yet) I plan on telling them if and after i make the team. Before the tryouts even happen I have to register online and I don't know what to put for the gender option. Also we have to have an Athletic physical turned in. Advice?

I would look to see if there is any established policy by the athletic organization your team plays in.  The NCAA rules for ftm athletes is that if you are not on hormones you can play on either a men's or women's team.  If you have started on T you can only participate on men's teams.  If there is no established policy, maybe guide the coach towards that for guidance.
"Choosing to be true to one's self — despite challenges that may come with the journey — is an integral part of realizing not just one's own potential, but of realizing the true nature of our collective human spirit. This spirit is what makes us who we are, and by following that spirit as it manifests outwardly, and inwardly, you are benefiting us all." -Andrew WK
