Wendy Williams under fire for comments on Bruce Jenner

"To suggest that a person's nail polish color or hairstyle would inflict harm on their children is just ludicrous," GLAAD president and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis told TheWrap.com. "What does inflict harm, however, is gross and invasive speculation about a person's gender identity."

During her Hot Topics segment on her show, Williams referenced a picture of Jenner that TMZ had acquired, which showed the former Olympian and current Keeping Up With the Kardashians star golfing on his 65th birthday. What got Williams' attention: Jenner was holding a lit cigarette and appeared to be wearing pink nail polish.

"Thank God he waited for his kids to grow up before making this transition or whatever it is he's going through," she said. "Can you imagine how awful it would be for those kids if he showed up with a blowout, a shaved Adam's apple, pink nail polish, and smoking a cigarette at a PTA meeting? Could you imagine?"

Hopefully Jenner gets support if they are coming out (which appears obvious) from other celebrities. Who cares for goddess sake!

I'm waiting for the National Enquirer to report on the UFO who beamed up Jenner and changed their gender.

If that's true, I am as proud today as the day in 1976 when Bruce took the gold medal!  A true American hero!  Just goes to show everyone that this situation is something that affects people in all walks of life and is deserving of being treated with respect and understanding, just like Bruce should be.

Or transition pronouns too. If he is transitioning and happier than ever, I am so happy for HER. As the one article discusses Bruce maybe wanted to do this when he met Kris and is now finally allowing herself to be happy after 20 years. Many of us know the suffering of repression of that inner drive and make that transition in our 60's. Whatever, I just do hope the media does treat this story with respect and dignity.

By now, you may have seen a few tabloid headlines about Bruce Jenner, carefully alluding to his "changed appearance" or "new look." The patriarch of the Kardashian family and ex-husband of Kris Jenner has lately made some certain style choices. His hair is long and highlighted. He's sported a French manicure. He wears diamond earrings and seemingly some lip gloss.
