In a couple weeks I will register for next semester's classes . then I'm going to do something crazy.....I'm going to send my proffessors an email telling them that I'm trans and they should call me jason and male pronouns. this is my first coming out experience where I really have no idea if they will be stupid or awesome.....before I've always cherry picked people who I knew were accepting.but being able to go to class and not be misgendered would feel really awesome. so if anyone has any advice , "slow down"s ,or anything else to say to me about this I'd like to know.

As a professor I am used to calling students by the name they request me to.   In your case it is a little different, of course, but I don't think most professors would have any trouble with the request.   I don't know where you are at, but most universities want to be trans friendly (even if they haven't figured it out yet.)
