Ok, so I live in Colorado, and we have these new wonderful laws here that allow transgender people to purchase insurance that will cover transgender procedures to include

Testing/HRT
Mental Health
Gender Reassignment Surgery
extenuating medical care for recovery after surgery
breast implants
and in some cases FFS.

Currently through the Connect for Colorado Website
https://prd.connectforhealthco.com/

there are 3 companies that offer transgender health insurance

Humana Colorado
Kaiser Permanente Colorado
Colorado Health-OP

I've been calling Humana and Kaiser Permanente today trying to find out who their in network surgeons are.

With Humana I ran into a brick wall (No surprise, its by design to discourage you so you will go away and not bother them).  I'll try again Wednesday when I have more time.

Currently on the phone with Kaiser Permanente.  I am getting some assistance, got a lady who is really working hard to find out this info, but not having any luck.

Am I missing something?  Is there a special website or place that I can find out who each of these providers in-network surgeons are?

I don't want to just blindly buy a plan, and go to the first available surgeon.  I am trying to do my research, find out who the surgeons are, review their qualifications, find out about their results from previous patients (good/bad/horrendous/awful/atrocious/mutilated/fantastic/best surgeon ever/etc) so I can make an informed decision and go with the best option for me.

Any help would be appreciated!  Thanks!
