"I'm trans."

I turned up to my session a complete wreck after last night's utterly botched coming-out-as-questioning talk with a friend I thought I could trust, and by the end of the session I managed to come out and just say it straight. It felt good.

Doesn't make the prospect of waiting a year to see the GIC any easier and if anything my brain being a milliontyone steps ahead of everything else is making me almost physically dizzy, but I said it, meant it, and now we can start to deal with it. Maybe.

Also I got called "pal" three times today and no (mis)gendered terms at all outside of my drama group (where unfortunately I introduced myself to the new term's intake as birthname because I hadn't had a chance to talk to my tutor yet to see about maybe coming out to them and I'm sort of terrified about that idea anyway, but that's a whole other problem)

Awesome! My therapist refers to me by my girl name now, which is awesome.

However she uses the term "transsexual" and even told my wife that I am a transsexual... and does it like it's no big deal...
