Ok, i had a similar issue a while after starting HRT. I also was paranoid of a DVT. Most ppl will say go to the doctor, as it could be dangerous. And it could well be.
But it also does not help at all to run to the doctor for every lil pain you get (your doctor will get annoyed eventually)...
Do not rely on Google either, as everything you read there will say you are dying, or have cancer or heart issues...
My pain was in the lower part of my right leg (just irritating pain), it would move higher and occasionally i would get pains in my arms, or other leg too. I also got chest pains, which felt like heartburn. Sooo, off to the doctor i went.
Explained to him the symptoms, and my fear for DVT, he just laughed at me and said its likely a pinched nerve in my back and muscle cramps from hrt. He claims a DVT is painfull and my leg will swell up. So, still feeling a bit unsure, during the examination, he was poking around and got to the middle of my spine, where a felt a extreme pain... Need i say anything further?
He says it can cause random aches and pains all over the body. And the chest pain was likely a panic attack due to all the worries. I was sent for a ECG test to, just to make sure my heart is fine, and it came back perfect, he says.
Two weeks later, when seeing my endo, i asked him too about it, and my fear of DVT. He also said it will be obvious and extreme pain and swelling.
Just remember, your body is going through MAJOR changes, and you can expect some aches and pains here and there... Some might be more susceptible than others. Also remember HRT is not an exact "this and that will happen at that exact time".
If you would like to ask anything else, feel free to pm me, i will try and not bite (but no promises)
