passing on the phone?

I recently had moved into my own apartment n I had to get my power connected, so I called the power company to get it switched on, but anyway because I haven't legally changed my name yet, when they asked for my name I said Philip, n she started to question me like
"are you shore?"
"You don't sound like a philip."
So I had to explain to her that I was transitioning from male to female n my voice has never been very guy like, she quickly realized what was going on n apologized, asking me
"what's your preferred name philip because we can put your account under an alias, if you like?".
So I said Jackie, because I had chosen that name at the time, but then changed it to clhoe but now I'm thinking Carly but anyway has anyone ever called you mam miss or what not?

I consider my voice to be pretty guyish but oddly enough I always get mam'd on the phone! It's kind of odd but I don't mind it. I still don't feel like my voice passes though tbh

I have actually haha It actually is very girly. I think the reason I don't like it is because I don't feel like it matches my face. Or maybe it does? hahah Idk honestly. It sounds either A. Extremely girly gay or B. Female. I guess it isn't very guyish at all 0.0 Seriously never realized til now haha Thanks!

That's ok, I'm  tone deaf to lol, meaning I can't tell how I sound very well but not every one can be Celine Deon  ha-ha ha
