For people who find themselves in central Maryland this Sunday, I'll be giving a talk entitled "What you probably don't know about Transgender Women". Anyone who wants to offer moral support is welcome.

Date: Sunday, November 16, 2014
Time: 12:30 PM
Place: Owen Brown Interfaith Center, 7246 Cradlerock Way, Columbia, MD 21045
Have you read my short story The Eve of Triumph?

I hope it goes fantastically well, Suzi. And it's a very good thing you're doing. Thank you for speaking up and wanting to make a difference in changing people's perceptions.

Very glad to hear of PFLAG allowing trans* people to talk about trans* issues for a change.

Hi Suzi,

Too bad it's in Maryland, I would like to go.  Just out of curiosity, would you have some bullet points on what your speech will cover?

Good luck,
Paige :)

No, not PFLAG. PFLAG still has shown no interest in having a trans person talking about being trans. It's sponsored by the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbia.

Hey there Suzi, unfortunately I can not be present, but you do have my support from Florida. I'm sure you'll do an excellent job of enlightening people.

Thanks for all the good wishes  :). It went very well. There were about 40 people there, and there were a lot of questions. A bunch of people came up and talked to me afterward, including one member of this site.
