First post, hi everyone. I'm pre-everything. Working on my makeup skills and trying to figure out what to do with my hair. I'm not so concerned with passing 100% but nevertheless I'd love to know to what extent I look feminine. My first goal is to get rid of my beard shadow, which looks really bad and prevents me from having a smooth canvas to apply makeup, which drives me crazy. Also, I have no idea what to do with my eyebrows.

Don't sugarcoat it - I'd much prefer honest analysis!

Thanks ahead of time!
Started HRT on September 1st, 2015.

looks great Rachel!
Give this a try for your eyebrows. Take an eyebrow pencil and start at the lower innermost eyebrow hair. draw a straight (yes straight..do not curve the line) outward just past the uppermost eyebrow hair. then angle a short line mirroring the angle of the outer corner of your eyelid. then, using a stiff brush (I have one that resembles a mascara brush) blend upward and outward with your eyelashes until it reasonably blends.
Give it a try. This is what I do, at least until I go full time and I will then probably shave them off and draw my eyebrows...maybe :)

Pre everything here too! Hopefully going the route of hormones soon to fix the difficult spots!

You look like you'd pass very well, but the beard shadow (I assume you're taking care of this ASAP) may pose a problem. However it is not prominent at all. I'd say you'll have a good time passing.

RachelsMantra, I totally love your hair. It's such a great cut and style for you. And you have really attractive features in general-- a great face. Other than that you just need to deal with the usual details of the shadow and eyebrows, as others have mentioned. Facial hair removal is expensive and not pleasant, but once you get it behind you it's on to other things and I'm sure you're headed to some good places.

You basically seem feminine to me, and the most masculine signals I get in the four photos is in your facial expressions. Changing the way you use your face can't really be controlled deliberately, I think. You pretty much have to do this from within. Let the guy go and allow the girl to seep out your pores. Don't block her. She'll shine though soon enough.

Here is my first ever contribution. Had my makeup done by a pro. I kinda didn't like either of the wigs..... 33 here, no HRT yet just some electrolysis. Feel free to give me the good, bad and the ugly. Hopefully HRT and FFS will help a bit with the face situation.

Frankly speaking, I do not think you ever need HRT and FFS. You already look feminine and beautiful enough. HRT and FFS will be just waste of money and time, IMHO.

Yes. My 2 cent analysis. The camera angle. You may try a higher position of your camera to take photos looking straight or down your eyes.

So I have been wondering if I was going to post on this thread or not. Because to some degree I think I am scared of the response. However, here goes nothing. Am I passable? I am pre-HRT and everything.

Thank you. I chose it because I have a buzzed head and wanted to start my transition in stages. I thought I would feel very uncomfortable with long hair having has a buzzed head for so many years. I am hoping that I can start laser hair removal and HRT very soon. I feel like both with help with my dysphoria.
