Damara

I posted these pics in the "fabulous" thread, but I thought I'd be daring and see what others think in this particular thread.. I'm pre-hrt and pre-any hair removal things, but have been presenting as female whenever I'm in public.. I don't do any shaving on my face if I don't have to (like when I'm home) because it really takes a toll on my skin..  :'(

They may be too "flattering" to be a real gauge of my passibillity but here they are! :D

pass.
Really?!

Yay!!  :D

Honestly, I don't see myself as passing, because I see all of these glaring things about my face that I read as male, and wish were more feminine... but.. maybe the hrt gods will bless me a bit and alleviate that feeling.

This time here's me with my grandmother s2

Almost three months full time so far =)

I hope I don't insult your grandmother now, but when I saw the photo i honestly thought to myself "well, if you look real close you can still see some masculine traits in her face"... then I realized it was the girl to the left that I was supposed to look at.  :o

My sister-in-law has training as a beautician, and a couple of weeks ago she and my brother came over to have dinner and hang out. Before I knew it, we were in the bathroom, and she was doing my makeup. It was the first time that I have been dressed as myself in front of either of them. Resolution isn't the best, as these came from my phone, but I think the basic idea is here.

When I begin presenting, I'll most likely wear bangs to cover up the worry lines on my forehead. Besides that, any thoughts?

-Tegan

Got a little buried. Still hoping for a bit of feedback. I don't feel too bad about jumping to the head of the line, considering that you ladies who posted after me all look really fantastic. :-)

Hey Tegan, you look pretty dang fabulous.  The make up is really good and the hair suits you. Great job.

Yeah, Tegan looking good, I like your style. I can't wait till I can wear bangs.

It looks like you are holding a little zombie arm by the wrist. :)

Goth,

Thank you kindly. I'm looking forward to rocking the bangs as well.

Your comment about the zombie made me laugh. Yeah, it was getting a little grabby.

Thanks! I just recently got the one on my chest finished. I figured that as the hormones took effect, that appointment would become more and more potentially awkward the longer I waited, so I bit the bullet and sat for my final session a couple days after my first hormone shot. Really glad I was able to get in immediately, since my chest is already starting to poke out.

Anyway, thanks for bringing a smile to my face.

;D,
Teg

Let me try.  This is from right now and is pre everything.  And I know my neck is still too big  >:( .  I'm 55 and just got my therapist's approval for HRT this week.

Pre-everything?  Deborah, you look genuinely like a 55 year old woman (which, incidentally, is exactly who you should be looking like).  One of the dead giveaways is often someone older dressing like a teenager, or a young girl who has raided the local Goodwill and dresses like her grandmother (although the latter is evidently cool these days or something?)

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you look great already, and thanks for sharing - especially since there seems to have been a spate of posts recently in which people far younger than yourself are worried that they're too old to have good results.  You're pre-HRT and knocking it out of the park.  Younguns, take note!  (Not that 55 is old, but you know what I mean ;))
