Anytime! You're most welcome! I'd have liked people to have been more critical of me honestly back in the day, so yupppp glad I've been of help :D I seeee.... That explains a lot, hehe....  I was wondering why you where grabbing on to the armrest like that :P I know it's not relevant but.... Take pics in direct sunlight, all of mine were done with sun blazing through the window... The effect is awesome.  (If you can avoid blinking that is haha)

I don't go out in the sunlight, I am asleep then. My friends think I am a vampire... they might be right (evil laugh) hahahaha
I've been afraid of changing, cuz I built my life around you.
but time makes you bolder, children get older , I'm getting older too.

April,

Can't believe you've been hiding these lovely locks under a wig all this time!

You look fab hun and pearl ear rings go well with the hair and make up  :)
Nobody's perfect ...   I'll never try,
But I promise I'm worth it, if you just open up your eyes,
I don't need a second chance, I need a friend,
Someone who's gonna stand by me right there till the end,
If you want the best of my heart, you've just gotta see the good in me.

Eh... I'm right there with you... So much more productive at night, hahahaha.... But there's plenty of sun in the evening to take 'em... Unless you literally are a vampire, in which case... :O lol

Thought I'd add that I hated the sun pre-HRT, avoided it like fire.. Hated the heat and how it felt... However since I started I think I truly enjoy it, it's comforting to feel and tanning can be fun, spesh if you're with friends :) I really did enjoy the summer....

PS.... I took a big liking to chocolate too... Careful of spots, lol

(Reposting this since I finally figured how to post pics)

I know this thread is mostly meant for pics of faces, but I am pre-everything and in the closet and really scared of being found out. But I really want to know whether I stand any chance of passing as female if/when I ever decide to transition.

So here are a couple of my full-body pics with the head cropped:

The first one also shows my elbow angle. It's about as 'straight' as I can make it. I shaved my body hair last about 2 weeks ago. I am also looking to lose about 20 pounds this year.

What do you'll think? Do I have a chance, or am I too masculine / chunky? Is the elbow angle thing for real or is it just my imagination? Any other comments?

@ those who have posted here before: most of you look fabulous already, and your transition journeys have inspired me to be a little more open about myself, even if it's still just a tiny bit. Now I am sorry if I am sounding too needy, but please give me some feedback on my pics. The more brutally honest the better. I know it's hard to say anything without looking at the face, but this is all I can share as of now. I just need to know if I am a lost cause or if there is some hope. It will help in figuring out how do I deal with my dysphoria from here on.

You are not a "lost cause" don't even say that. I don't understand what "arm bend " you are worried about.  Ok so, honestly front on shot with a dark color outfit is real hard to tell. To me your body does not look that manly so I am sure you will have a chance of passing once on HRT. I have seen amazing before and after photos when the body started as very muscular and manly. I also read a post a while back on some feminizing exercises, you may want to search that in the forums, has some good routines to help shape your body / hips / waist.

Again, a frontal picture is hard to tell when in dark cloths with dark background on one side..

Cindy, I honestly think that you have absolutely nothing to worry about - your body is perfect, and I have no doubt that your face is just as pretty.  Someone more experienced can critique the arm angles and such; however, from the standpoint of attractiveness and whether or not you should be confident/comfortable, you are gorgeous. Should you ever decide to transition, your mind can be at ease - you are already passable.  :)

@ Jade and umterps: Thank you so much. That's really encouraging to read. I know the clothing, lighting, background etc is not perfect, but I tried a few other combinations and a side profile etc and it wasn't much better. The background is light on one side and dark on the other so either way it is a problem. Also, I have never really liked clothes which fit too closely, or pics that show me that way, and posting my pics online like this was also for the first time ever. (Yes, I do have pics of my 'regular life' online but I just prefer to be lost in the background / landscape in those)

Anyway, it is good to read your replies. I have never been too muscular, but now that I accepted my GD and tried to look at myself as female, I couldn't see that either. About the elbow angle, I had read about how it is different for men and women, and that trans-women may have it closer to cis-women, though it is not a necessary condition. So I asked someone who knew about this, and he explained the biological reasons and all to me, but when I showed him my elbow angle, he just dismissed it saying it is within the normal range for males. So I was a bit skeptical about whether I am just imagining too much about myself.

Hi folks. Hair is obviously too short and doing something weird at the back and really need to start smiling in photos, but here's a pic of me in female clothes and subtle (too subtle perhaps) makeup. I did try with eyeliner but failed miserably! Obviously a long way to go but grateful for any feedback.

Thanks! I was hoping hrt could make me into someone more petite like you. Always felt a bit rugged, especially the shoulders.

you have a really slight frame and long term HRT will definitely take away the muscle mass of your upper body. I looked a bit like you in the arms until HRT melted it away

I'd say if you smiled in a few of the pictures and posed better that it would make a world of difference

The only thing that has any bulk to it on you looks like your trapezius, but it just makes you look like you can kick some butt as opposed to screaming 'male'

IMO the light gray/white striped shirt is the best look on you... the floral print one really accentuates your upper body. I have that same problem with different shirts

Just a quick pic from yesterday, tired after a long day of tennis  :D
I'm pre everything. But currently happy despite that.

I do hope to change that in the future.
