On unrelated note, I know I have to stop taking estrogen and blood thinning medications, but is it ok to still take T-blockers? I emailed the office about it twice, and each time they only mentioned E and the blood thinning meds. They also said I could bring all the meds with me in case I have trouble withdrawing ( which I probably will have, I'm very fond of my breasts and don't want them to shrink even a little bit
I've also heard of hair loss issues... and as it happens, I've just gone through a hair-loss phase for some reason and have half of what I orginally had left on my head

Do not risk it. Last thing you need is a bleeding complication or infection or worse. There's a good reason why you need to stop hormones and anything that you take hormones with as a booster and it's to prevent Deep Vein Thrombosis or thinning of the blood.
I have been on HRT injections with progesterone booster for 15 years, started when i was 16 and now im 31 and I missed 1-2 months a few times but that didn't shrink my breast where i didn't have anymore so you don't need to worry about that.
When I found out my surgery date as stated in DR Chettawuts website, "You must stop hormones 1 month before surgery". I completely stopped HRT, Vitamin with Vitamin E, and any boosters for the hormones at 1 month and a half before surgery. I don't smoke nor drink alcohol but rarely so that was taken care of. Within that whole month before surgery I was very careful. I didn't wanna develop any diabetes, diseases, or put anything in my body that would kill me during surgery or while in recovery so I had to be really strict on myself.
And even though I kept myself almost to perfect health before surgery, I am glad surgery went well and there was no complications but this was a major surgery to get SRS + Breast Implants and still 3 weeks after srs+BA I find myself very fragile regardless if my healing is going great. I almost fainted a few days ago due to a long walk and standing up too long at the Tesco supermarket, I thought i was gonna die. I realized i need to take better care of myself and give myself time to rest.
My stitches are healing great but as for my blood sugar and everything else that uses my energy and inside my veins, it was running a healing marathon using up every source of energy to rejuvenate my body and that's when i realized, I need to be strict and limit my walking, limit my strenuous activities. I needed to take things more slowly.
But just be careful and good luck. As long as you follow Dr Chettawuts instructions and the nurses instructions who will be taking care of you after surgery, regardless how much you would hate it or how painful it may be, they know what's best, and you will do great. They have had experience in caring for tons of patients like us who undergone the same thing.
