JustaSeq-I am also new to this site. I have been in the medical field for years, and this is not a professional opinion, but from experience, I have seen this occur with alteration with estrogen levels. Estrogen is responsible for modifying mammary ducts and so, especially with your history, it may not be a big issue. However, the color of the discharge is not of primary importance as "good and bad" things can give clear, red, yellow, or brownish discharge. However, if it hurts or if it is from one nipple and comes out without you squeezing, then going to your doctor and getting a sonogram would be a good step. If it is from both breasts and you have to squeeze it to cause the discharge makes it more likely to be from the hormonal changes. In my experience, verapamil (a blood pressure and heart medicine) or tricyclic anti-depressants can cause this as well. Remember, thyroid and pituitary hormones can cause symptoms with the breasts and discharge. If it persists, I would seek professional help; however, your recent history can easily explain it as well. Hope this helps....again, it is not a diagnosis, just an opinion from someone with a long background in the field. Blessings, Sheila Grace
