Second Progesterone question--
I started last month with an abbreviated course (5 days) just to make sure I wasn't one of those women who suffer raging PMS. This month I did the entire ten days. I noticed a bit of an emotional lift at the start, as well as a return of the breast tenderness I experienced the first few months after starting HRT.
I made it to the end of the course with a bit of a downward emotional trend, feeling somewhat dulled. But at the same time, I endured a lot of stress at work as we suddenly had a project with absolutely no deadline and a lot of things that needed to be accomplished. Plus, there were many changes of course that negated hours spent previously and forced a starting over again. These situations always get to me anyway, especially when I'm not in control and am being 'blamed' anyway in the heat of the battle.
The last dose was taken Tuesday night, the project was finally under control Friday at 9 AM. Thursday and Friday were the worst for me emotionally, even though I had finished taking progesterone for this month.
Question - What is the timing of the Progesterone 'crash'? If I can anticipate it better, I can be mentally prepared for it when it arrives (at least, that's my plan--)
