Honestly, we do change

One last post,  then I've got to get ready for electrolysis at 1pm.  Plus I have to finish tons of work over the next month or two.
Now ....

Really girls, we do change as time passes.  We aren't special people, and it's normal to worry as we resolve simple or trivial problems.  So when a real big problem like transition comes along it's a massive barrier for us, and it seems impenetrable.  But you know what? ... over time we learn to accept the success, failure, wins and losses.  And it's the Failure, and Losses that we fear the most.

Please don't misunderstand what I've said. We all struggle, and we wouldn't be human if we didn't.  Yet we all have our own schedule, ways of coping, and levels of comfort.  And so, we obviously differ in accepting the changes caused by transition.  I called a girl a Wonder Woman yesterday because she has the strength to do something I couldn't.  And yet it doesn't mean she's not struggling to move forward.  But I've done a lot that she hasn't, and I struggled in different ways to get here today.  You'll all find ways to work through transition, some have a real road map, while others do it by the hem of their dresses (kind of like the seat of their pants for transmen). And still, we all have our goal

So, is it all about us?  Yes.  It's all about what each of us can accept every day, how quickly we accept and move forward, and how willing we are to have parts of our lives disappear.  We're not all the same, and our time in transition is likewise different.  It all may sound simple, but you know it's not.

I'm terribly happy and proud to be part of this community.  Even if I've had some incredible losses, I'm still here.  Too bad I have to cry once in a while about my children, wife and friends.

Anyway, I'll post in the Friday Weight thread, but that's it for quite a while.

Hugs K.
