Can raising E dosage put limitations on breast growth?

I recently recieved the ok on the E dosage level that should be where I will remain.  I have had a steady improvement in breast growth during this settling in on a fixed dosage.  Just wondering though if anyone has actual experience with once reaching that 'sweet spot', they noticed the trade off of lessening growth?  I am well aware of the myriad of medication mixtures and personal biochemical differences, I'm saying when the 'only' variable that changes is the estrogen.

I could be seeing the possibility of a problem where none exists, still curious though.   Dani

Presumably once you have reached your sweet spot you are reasonably advanced in your HRT so some reduction in growth rate is to be expected (they have to slow down at some stage for all women otherwise they'd be gargantuan z-cups!). Mileage will vary due to your genes and your body's response to hormones but I've heard tell that growth continues, albeit at a much slower place, for three to five years, sometimes more.

Uh Oh, I might have stated this not quite well enough.  What I mean by sweet spot is my dosage amount (I am only 5 mo. into hrt), and breasts are just beginning to grow.  Was just wondering if there is a E dosage that a person begins to stall out on growth.  Sorry.  Dani

A body can only absorb so much E in a given day...I've been at the max dose for 2.5 years now, and there is still some slow growing happening (based on itchiness which only lasts a day or two).

My fastest growth spurt (no pun intended) was probably at just past a year at full HRT, and it lasted about a year.

YMMV, everyone is different.

Yep, I just reached what I feel is as high as I want to go (IM EV), all blood work ups are still good.  They are growing quite nicely and this last agreed upon dosage starts day after tomorrow, so I just didnt want to see this good growth slow down.  Thanks, looks like all should be good.

I was on a reasonably low dose and they finally stopped growing after more than 5 years at perhaps a large B. I figured that was about it, but I recently started on a full transitioning regime, and they have not stopped hurting or growing since. I was originally on estrogen only with blood levels of around 200 pmol/L, which was clearly not enough.

For me at least lower dose does mean less breast growth, even over many years. I don't think the actual dose means much though, its the blood levels that are important for effect and safety. I was using patches originally, and I'm told that some people don't absorb estrogen very well from them.

I'm not sure what would happen if you had too much estrogen, but I'd guess it wouldn't limit breast growth, unless it killed you first.

If they keep going for another 5 years like they are now I think I'm going to be in trouble.

If you get more E than you need, your body just excretes it back out. It shouldn't affect results at all. (Obviously, getting the right dose titrated for each person is something of a trial and error thing.)

And my wife is a 36J cup... I don't think Z cup actually exists, but J's terrifyingly large enough!

You can't push your genetics girls. Everyone's mileage will vary. Your Endo will adjust your dosages based upon your bloodwork results as best he or she can. But the bottom line is, you can't rush genetics. Also too much E can be very dangerous to your health. So be careful ad follow the dosages prescribed by your Doctors.

Having said the above, It is generally accepted that the majority of breast growth will happen within the first two to three years with growth at a slower pace continuing on up through 5 to 7 years. Genetics and family history plays a key role in breast development whether your cis or trans. Just be patient girls your boobs will grow.

Z Cups Ms. Grace, oh my gosh!! As tiny as I am up top they'd consume me!, lol!! I'm happy with my B's, and I look at it this way, if I get C's they'll be  gravy!

Yes. Follow doctor's recommendations but it is also important to realize that type of estrogen and route of administration affect very strongly risk. I take bio estradiol, non-orally, have high levels, similar to those during the first trimester of pregnancy and feel great. So far, no problems. Tests all came back normal and feminization is good.

I'm still trying to get my doctor to prescribe me progesterone but he is so reluctant ! It pisses me off honestly.
