So i just started this morning on a very low dose of spyro/estradiol! Not really sure what to think yet haven't really noticed any thing different yet other then no longer having to worry about when Im going to  starting.  I have follow up appointment in 2 months so I guess this is kind of my trial period to see if this is the wright path. Im kind of worried that its too small of a dose to even have any effect. when do you start noticing a difference as in mental different I know physical changes are at least 3+ months away. Im ok with taking it slow as I'm still pretty unsure of myself but I honestly think its mostly just fear of relearning everything and the social aspect.  Im not too worried I know it takes time but I also kind of just want to wake up with boobs tomorrow! ;)

Congratulations! Remember, a young girls body starts out producing teenie tiny amounts of estrogen, and the changes happen. They take a long time to complete, it's natural. That's how it should be for you, as well.

I'm on the end of day 9  low doses , not noticing a whole lot of changes but it is helping with my dysphoria, your lucky my doctor wants to see me 3 months after I started to raise my dose, I too am just ready to wake up with boobs but I know we have to be patient! Like Devlyn said takes a long time for a girls body to change and we're just starting! it is the best feeling ever to finally be on the way to being who you really are though! :)

Congrats on starting!

I started once a few years back and had to stop due to financial reasons. I took them for about 3 months. It took a couple of weeks before I really noticed any tingle type effects or mental calmness. In the three months though I did notice tenderness in the breast area and some slight nipple changes like puffiness which I still have even today this many years later.

Good luck and I'm preparing to start again in the 1st quarter next year.

Ahh nice to hear you've got things started, I'm happy for you.  For me the mental was difficult to get changed, even starting on the upper side of low (for a month, then medium/injections from the beginning).  I did not see the mental improvement for awhile even though it had changed.  What would cause me to notice was when my blood serum level of E slipped below a certain point, then pow, not so good.  It was a very gradual change in both directions.  Once the dosage and injection cycles were perfected, the ups and downs slowed down and now have stopped altogether.  Physically I did not notice a change until about 2 months or so (my T levels were very high) when I began to get the tell tale tingle that everyone speaks of.  True growth began around two weeks later.

You will find your way, just dont get too down and if you do remember there are many very good people to talk to here.  Happy Trails.   My Best,   Dani

Day 2, still no boobs but dysphoria has gotten quite a bit easier to deal with. I feel better about myself then i have in probably 6 months so thats pretty good!  I was wondering is your endo supposed to tell you what your current pre hrt hormone level is? I didn't get any number or anything as to where my current testosterone level is at, I was just told everything came back normal then got my prescription.  I'm just curious as how my level compare to a typical male.

Breasts won't come over night.. if much at all.  I'm day 22 and really only thing I've noticed this far is mood swings... happy, sad, excited, and pissed off... all at one time...  :D :'( >:(

I started 2/3 dose on pills then month 3 full dose on pills.

I had a lot of change the 1st 3 months. My dysphoria dropped,  my spontaneous erections stopped, a gray fog lifted, I had trouble reaching orgasm,  I started to smell guys, my body odor stopped, I develop a female scent, buds formed and nipples were erect almost all the time, I became calm, my chest and neck pains disappeared, my areolas grew.

Welcome to a wonderful journey.

Just finished week one myself.  So far just 1/2 the introductory prescription - I have Drs permission to step up when ready.

After 3 days I lost a lot of my depression and anxiety.

My IBS/food intolerances seem to have lessened somewhat.

My dream life is richer and fuller.

On the negative side I had a sore tongue, though that seems to have disappeared, and have had trouble sleeping through the night.

Just getting rid of the depression makes it all worth while.  I actually found myself smiling for no reason at all the other day.

Almost a week for me. I'm low dose for 2 weeks then double after that. (I don't know if its still considered low dose or not, I just know it goes up to double) I don't feel any different, but sometimes I feel like my nipples are sensitive. It may be a placebo effect though. When I touch them, they don't feel any different.

I can't wait to start my HRT after the first of the year. I'm ready to start now. Something has to give. I've got to get my mind and body on the same page. Hearing these stories really has me looking forward to what's coming.
