Initial swelling give inaccurate full depths?

Hi everyone still chilling up here in Thailand and doing dilation as per usual. One thing that worried me a couple days ago was my depth which started at 16.3cm is now 15.9 even though I dilate religiously. However my swelling has reduced significantly and I'd assume the loss was more due to the swelling making things seem deeper at first. Any of you ladies experience this?

Yes - for a few reasons.
First the depth measurement is taken when swelling is at it's most. To try to keep to that original depth was painfull after week 4.
Second was a conscious decision to reduce depth slightly to reduce discomfort At the apex. Less than a cm but made life so much more comfortable. The only problem trying to get a minimum depth is when anatomy is forced to allow it.
Finally As the labia folds become more soft and well defined, then where do you measure from?

In the end don't fear a slight loss of depth if you a comfortable. That is more important!

Yep. Many surgeons will warn that swelling makes depth  measurement tricky early on, since it's hard to see precisely where the vaginal canal ends and the lips begin, and swelling will make both of those seem larger.

Besides if you are into guys, both the anatomy of you and a male partner will take off another 1 1/2 to 2 inches due to the both legs and buttock and how fat both of you are. You would have to perform a very tight contact for a male to go the full depth. So if you measure straight from the labia, you will know the practical depth. That said, I've heard that 4 inches is enough to have sex with most guys. One sex worker I heard, had 4 inches, and never had any problems with her clients. And from what I recall, guys rarely want to go deep. It seems that rapid in/out seems to satisfy them more, which you can't do with huge depth.
