1973 01 08 (Master Reel Transfer) - Neil Young

Disc 1:

1. On The Way Home
2. Tell Me Why
3. LA
4. Journey Through The Past
5. I Am A Child
6. Sugar Mountain (very funny version, Neil's in a good mood)
7. Borrowed Tune
8. Out On The Weekend
9. Band Introduction / Harvest
10. Old Man
11. Heart Of Gold

Disc 2:

1. Audience / Tune-up
2. Come Along And Say You Will
3. Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere
4. Time Fades Away
5. New Mama
6. Alabama
7. Don't Be Denied
8. Last Dance
9. Cinnamon Girl
10. Lookout Joe
11. Words (only known 70's performance of this tune, which most likely wasn't played again until 2000 on the Friends & Relatives tour, it sounds a bit underrehearsed, so no surprise it wasn't a regular feature. add to that the sacking of several band members a short while later)

Despite all my rage, I'm still just a rat in a cage

Futurecop! - Streethawk II , they basically make music that sounds like the music version of a 80s movie so really heavy on that synth pop sound

my own bad rendition of Bob Dylan's "Sara", recorded yesterday because i finally got over a certain connection with this song and celebrated by playing it a couple of times. As soon as i hit record however, it's like my vocal cords tensed up and so did my fingers. It's a little sloppy at times and i veer off-key here and there and i had to overdub a couple of lines in one verse and the interjections during later refrains. Doesn't help that i did the overdubs in a much more gruff tone of voice.
And my own sloppy (although less so than the other track!) rendition of Neil Young's "Words", too recorded yesterday).
The vocals also sound a bit loose, because i get nervous when i record myself. I seem to have adopted the bad habit of altering the phrasing here and there too.
There's also a brief snippet of "Winterlong", me trying to decide on what to do now, attempting "The Losing End" (completely off-key sadly because it's out of reach), quoting "Tonight's The Night", attempting "Roll Another Number (For The Road)" and giving up. I swear i'm not always this bad.

bootleg edit or official edit?

At any rate they played better gigs that year, even available in better quality, like some of the San Francisco stuff, or the best-sounding one: Texas Pop Festival

Official edit.  Just got it.  I'd like to see Pagey clean up a few more, like he did to "Going to California".  Night and day on that one.
