Bob Dylan & The Rolling Thunder Revue Live In Providence 1975 (audience tape)

If i ever hear Joan Baez warble her way through a Roseanne Barr-esque "Swing Low Sweet Chariot" again, i will become homicidal. Thank god her set is "only" 23 minutes long. It started off with a fantastic "Diamonds And Rust" and after that just went way downhill. It completely kills the momentum too. It was a good idea to leave off any guest performances on the official live albums. Some are ok (Roger McGuinn, Bob Neuwirth) , some are great (Ramblin' Jack Elliott), but Joan Baez's set is just awful and overlong. The Bob part is fantastic and whenever the fantastic band he had here joins in, even Joan's set temporarily becomes bearable. Look at this line-up!

Bob Dylan (vocal, guitar)
Bob Neuwirth (guitar, duet on "When I Paint My Masterpiece")
T-bone Burnett (guitar)
Roger McGuinn (guitar, sings second verse on "Knockin' On Heavens Door")
Steven Soles (guitar)
Mick Ronson (guitar)
David Mansfield (steel guitar, violin, mandolin, dobro)
Rob Stoner (bass)
Howie Wyeth (piano, drums)
Luther Rix (drums, percussion)
Ronee Blakeley (vocal)
Joan Baez (vocal, guitar)
Scarlet Rivera (violin)

Rolling Thunder (Cherokee Medicine Man) makes a speech
Bob Neuwirth - Sleazy
Bob Neuwirth - Cindy (When I Get Home)
Steven Soles - Don't Blame Me
T-Bone Burnett - Werewolves Of London
Cindy Bullens - Nowhere To Go
Rob Stoner - Catfish
Mick Ronson - Is There Life On Mars?
Bob Neuwirth & Ronnie Blakeley - Alabama Dark
Ronee Blakeley - Please
Bob Neuwirth - Mercedes Benz
Bob Neuwirth - Ramblin' Jack
Ramblin' Jack Elliott - Me & Bobby McGee
Ramblin' Jack Elliott - Friend Of The Devil
Ramblin' Jack Elliott - Salt Pork, West Virginia

Even if you don't feel like you need it and aren't religious, this could make you feel great.

I have been obsessed with the album "Phase" by Jack Garratt. Here is one of my favorite tracks "Breathe Life". Whole album is tops.

I agree, it is a very good intro. Also, I love Dio's voice. It is so buoyant and dynamic.

"I Saved The World Today"

Monday finds you like a bomb
That's been left ticking there too long
You're bleeding
Some days there's nothing left to learn
From the point of no return
You're leaving

Hey hey I saved the world today
Everybody's happy now
The bad things gone away
And everybody's happy now
The good thing's here to stay
Please let it stay

There's a million mouths to feed
And I've got everything i need
I'm breathing
And there's a hurting thing inside
But I've got everything to hide
I'm grieving

Hey hey I saved the world today
Everybody's happy now
The bad things gone away
And everybody's happy now
The good thing's here to stay
Please let it stay

Doo doo doo doo doo the good thing

Hey hey I saved the world today
Everybody's happy now
The bad things gone away
And everybody's happy now
The good thing's here to stay
Please let it stay

Everybody's happy now
