PC rules!

I'm now enjoying using my PC again.  It multi-tasks.  I can listen to my music playing from an audio file while using any other application.  My Apple iPad did not do that.

What have I been listening to you ask?

     -  Michele Polnareff.  Polnareff's 'Amie Caline' (rather, the Americanised 'Soul Coaxing') was my theme song for Slim on KBWA when I had my part-time DJ job at 'Beautiful KBWA' (1979 – 1980).

     -  'Lovely Ladies' by Norrie Paramor and John Sbarra.  The featured song is 'Sharon' – my theme song at KBWA.  Maybe you can find 'Sharon' on YouTube; I can't find it there.

     -  'Wonderwall' by George Harrison.  Yeh pretty wild sitar playing, heavy guitar riffs, humourous songplay.  It's a great album; one of my favourite Beatles albums.  I used 'Cowboy Music' as music bed for my KBWA PSAs, Promos, and IDs.

     -  'Sugar Me' by Lynsey De Paul.  This is very well ingrained in my past for all that meant to me during 11th Grade when I first heard this during Christmas vacation to Austria (1972 - 1973).

Nice huh? Got rid of my smart phone a while ago and don't miss it, now I have an Lithuanian version of the classic Nokia.

I'm running Ubuntu (Linux) on my PC and it works fantastic.  Using a set of Bose desktop speakers...
