Hello all! My name is Cara, I have been lurking here off and on for 3-4 years and figured I should make an account and briefly introduce myself.
I'm 27 years old and finally started seeing a gender therapist a month ago which has been amazing. I recently had an appointment with a doctor that uses an informed consent model, an experience I am going to share as a contribution to the HRT subforum.
I'm a computer programmer by trade, but my passion has always been music. My mains are piano and violin, but I am also pretty knowledgeable of other classical string instruments, and I am okay at guitar but it has never really been a focus of mine. My primary focus musically the past few years has been experimenting with electronic music production, something that is fun but I lack ability at because I rarely ever have time to spend on it since I have been busy finishing my unrelated degree program.
Anyway that is a little bit about me, I look forward to contributing to future discussions and hopefully make a few friends in the process!
