So, just curious, how many of you have Tanner V (5) stage breast & how long did it take to reach?

About four years, I'd say; coming up on five and there's still a bit of fat deposit happening but that's it.

Of course, for me personally I went back and forth between Tanner III and IV - the "secondary mound" of nipple/areola would form, then disappear, then return, over the course of a few months. That stopped happening and everything rounded out and settled down around the four-year mark, so I guess that was full maturity.

Full breast maturity comes when it lactates...well that's why my doctor told me. ???

.... ohmahgawd....

Okay, well let's just say Tanner Stage V hahaha

Well, if lactation is required, then many, many cis women don't qualify either. So let's call that Tanner V+ or something. :)

I actually did lactate briefly... but my endo was concerned, and tested prolactin levels and wanted an MRI. So it wasn't exactly a fun experience. (She ended up saying it's not unheard-of with hormone fluctuations, and it wasn't "true" lactation, just a few drops at a time.)

Supposedly one can induce lactation with herbs and a good quality breast pump (think, $300-500USD).

Which might be kinda fun...until the first blouse is ruined by a spontaneous leak.

"Uh oh, we've got a gusher!!"

I'm still at an A cup :-( went on oral E and Spiro for 4 months then went 3 months on injections of E, and since apparently walmarts manufacturer stop making it, I had to temporarily go back to oral.  The point nipple firm nondule under it that hurts when hit went away.  It's like my nipples settled back to normal and small and kept A cup.  This is my 9 month mark on HRT, am I doomed to have this size forever?  If so I'm getting a breast enhancement to a C cup which is ideal for me.  Its kinda disappointing.  I can't even wear a real bra yet v.v just sports bra.

Be sure to wait at least two years, maybe 3 before getting a BA. Be patient!

I am unsure wether I have Tanner V boobs or not. When It is cold my nipples shrink, when its hot they puff up like tanner IV and when the weather is inbetween the nipples are as a tanner V breast looks. My boobs are size B to C deppending on brand.

This is an interesting thread. When I transitioned the first time some 25years ago in my thirties, I was on a combination of injections and pills and also n Progesterone and I had a Lesbian girlfriend for some time who was  pregnant, but her partner had left her, we became very close friends and lived together after a while and through her encouragement  and with a lot of help, from her Nurse Practitioner and lots of breast pump work, over a period of some 6 months, I found I was also able to lactate with my partner. This worked really well as with the baby came it was a joint effort as she worked different hours. Sadly the relationship didn't last the seed of time as eventually she decided she wasn't a lesbian, met this guy and went off into the sunset.

In my latest transition, over the last couple of months, my breasts have started to leak a little in their growing phase. I am about Tanner III and a 42B. I definitely pass the pencil test. But its nothing to worry about, but it does mean messy night dresses and PJs. Also it helps if you put some cotton in your bras around the nipple area, if you wear a soft bra to bed.

I'm about starting stage 4, after 17 months on ert.  At a nice 36b.

And yes, I'm IS.

Tanner Stage 3 but Stage 4 keeps appearing then vanishing. Honestly, I've been told that a lot of transwomen never get beyond Stage 3 and thus seek breast augmentation. I won't do that before the 4 or 5 year mark and I'm just past 2 years now so I need to remain patient.

For the record, I am a 38A and it's a decently full A cup but nowhere near filling a B yet, at least on the bras I've checked.
