So I'm seeing Dr. Spiegel today for a consult and I'm wondering if anyone else had Type 3 forehead surgery done with him?  I hear it's super risky but I definitely think I need it.  I also don't understand his need for not doing X-rays....that kind of really worries me...

Based upon my own experience, if they don't request a CT scan or even an x-ray then you won't be satisfied with the end result. It was third time lucky for me, or unlucky twice. For experienced surgeons for whom this is one of their specialties, there's no more risk than other cosmetic procedures, say rhinoplasty.
