I write a bit of poetry, so I decided to share one of my poems here. Enjoy :)

Beauty

What is beauty?
Found inside makeup?
Our faces?
Our bodies?

Beauty,
Is it worth it?
All of the pain to achieve it?
What's to achieve?

We have beauty inside us,
We are beauty,
We make beauty,
Beauty doesn't make us.

Realizing the screaming pain,
Hearing loud in your brain,
But you need to go ahead,
With your scars,

Don't cover them up,
Don't hide them all,
Show them to the world, be proud,
You're beautiful.

Beauty,
Often mistaken,
Always yearned for,
Never understood.
