I played the 2600 for a long time.  Favorite games were River Raid, Spy Hunter, and the Space Invaders Ripoff called Demon Attack.  Warlords was a fun multiplayer game,  almost never makes it onto the compilation game systems.

I loved warlords! It was like breakout for 4 players.

I'm surprised so many of you like the Atari   I thought I would get a few eye rolls.  I decided to get it, my wife will be picking up one later on tonight, I look forward to a night filled with nostalgia.  I'm hoping this one comes with berzerk, but it does come with pitfall   I'm pretty sure it comes with Space Invaders as well, that will be certain to bring back a lot of memories.

I've heard some bad reviews regarding the wireless controllers, fortunately I have a couple of joysticks from a broken 2600 I bought a year or two ago.

I am currently playing at Valkyrie Profile. But it's kind of difficult to pursue a game when you're struggling with depression and anhedonia, alas... I shall try to conclude it because this game seems extremely both poetic and filled with enchantress melancholy. The story seems so deeply sad.

I also intend to play at Chrono Cross that fascinates me since my childhood. But I never had the opportunity to try it since the game was available only in Europe, unfortunately. I bless those who created EPSXE. There is also Silent Hill 2 that interests me even though I am extremely hypersensitive.

Finally picked up an xbox one and playing both destiny 2 and the new southpark game.

Oh jesus, do not play Silent Hill 2 if you are in a bad place at all, particularly if you are hyper sensitive. That game deserves its reputation. I'm a horror fanatic, and nothing has gotten to me like it did. It is brilliant but oh dear lord is it depressing. (I am an achievement fanatic and went back through it and SH3 on the collection release from some years ago now. I did everything in SH3, which wasn't easy, and despite persevering through some brutal games for achievements... I just couldn't keep playing SH2 to 100% it. Every play through just brought me down more and more without fail.)

Just started playing Final Fantasy XII: Zodiac Age. Never played the original. In fact, I'd only played up to 7 (except for 14). Planning on picking up the recent PS4 release of FF9 at some point, too. Probably the X & X2 re-re-release, eventually. Gotta catch up on my FF.

FFXII is the only one I never played (ignoring the MMOs, though did play XI some), I'm mad they aren't releasing Zodiac Age on steam. Hrrrm... would prefer to play zodiac age release, but now I'm wondering if my current laptop will run PS2 emulators decently enough... I say this like my backlog isn't massive enough.

It is a true masterpiece of the genre, and does what it was designed to do very, very well. Perhaps too well. Definitely look towards playing it someday, just not while you are already vulnerable. I know for my part with the ups and downs of the past few months since dealing with everything regarding starting transition I haven't been able to bring myself to even play Resident Evil 7's DLC, and, as good a game as that is, it is still nowhere near SH2 in the depressing category. (Which is saying something, because, as I said before I am a horror fanatic and have been a devotee of RE since I was a kid.)

For me it's frustration to the point of depression sometimes! I hate feeling like I can't complete something and just get oddly melancholic. (I'm looking at you, Spelunky.)

Silent Hill 1.

It's been a long time.

OH wow, I don't even think I'd be able to stomach it after so long, I can't force myself to play FFVII either all of the games I grew up with are just so dated. >.< (Oddly enough SNES titles maintain their longevity?)

Copious amounts of Overwatch and Diablo 3 right now. I don't even care that I'm rubbish at FPS. Also, organizing my stash every time the season ends in Diablo 3 is annoying beyond imagination..
