laser removal on body

Hello all

has anyone done laser hair removal on their legs? The salon i'm going to is doing my legs but they want me to come in every 5 weeks.

I feel like im not noticing much change even after 3 sessions and the same areas keep getting treated, but they aren't shedding. Do they have me on too frequent of a schedule? I thought i read somewhere that body hair should be spaced every 8 to 10 weeks, and only facial hair should be 4 to 6 weeks.

if they keep zapping hairs that aren't in an active growth phase, do they simply persist, and not shed??

The fist laser I used (ND:Yag) had little or no effect on my body hair. It was a matter of finding another one more effective for me, Pulsed Diode Array. I usually come once every two or three months, 8 weeks being the minimum.

Thanks Julia. The  unfortunately thing now is i'm tied to a contract for 8 treatments. I'm not sure what I can do at this point.
