I have fairly small hips, and wide shoulders, though I was a fat kid because of an intestinal hernia that I didn't figure out I had until I was 22, eight years ago. After surgery I lost almost a hundred pounds, but was skinny, and saggy -- so I took up yoga a couple years after that, and have been a frequent practitioner -- in preparation of my transformation I'm dieting, and doing lots of yoga. My top four abs are visible, but doubt I'll ever get my skin to tighten enough to see the lower ones. My stomach skin hangs a bit too in the center when I'm doing plank type poses. I'm fairly muscular now though, because I'm a roofer, and just spent the summer up until a couple weeks ago doing roofing, which is a notoriously physically demanding job. My boss says I can still do it next summer with him when I transition, but I'm not quite sure if I'll be able to maintain the pace I'm used to. Most likely I'll be looking for another career.
I don't expect HRT to do everything I want, I expect to have to work hard too. I know someone that started HRT just like six months ago, and is like sixty, and her body transformation from just diet and exercise combined with HRT is astonishing. Inspired me into thinking it was possible for me too.
