I'm new here, but seldomly lurker! I'm really considering Dr. Curtis Crane, but also Kathy Rumer. My doctor praises her, but somehow I'm still not sold.
Dr. Crane's practice is in Greenbrae, CA. (About 20 miles north of San Fran). Convenient for me since I live in Cali. I like how he is:
- Performing trans surgery procedures since 2005 (about 10yrs)
- Dually trained as a reconstructive urologist and plastic surgeon.
- Follows WPATH standards of care for the letters, but occasionally waives this requirement on a case by case.
- Recommends gential electrolysis prior to surgery.
- Offers free consultation.
- Accepts/works with insurance.
- Patient Coordinator respondeded to my email within a few days with detail information and Patient Intake PDF.
Here are some concerns I have.
-Mostly does FTM top surgeries.
- was not impressed of the MTF Post-Op pics on his site.
Other than that he seems like pretty cool judging by his YouTube video.
I hope anyone here can share their experience with him.
