Well im new here and just wanting to introduce my self.
Recently went to my local LGBT group who then introduced me to a trans group and finally found the courage to tell someone how I really felt inside.

Through out my childhood I dressed like a boy and had my hair cut short as to me that is who I am and dresses and long hair etc really are not me. In public I have always passed as male which feels great but when family and friends were around it embarrased me not to correct people. Public toilets have always been a problem frowned upon for going into the female toilets and not having the courage to go into the  mens.

I have made the first steps by talking to my GP and now waiting for a GIC appointment.

Hi kieron,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Good to see you're off to a good start with booking in with your GP. I'm sure everything will go well for you. Finding your inner truth is always a great start to a fabulous journey.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine

The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS
