brow reshaping advice

Hi all, I have somewhat of a dilemma I'm facing.  I want to trim and re-shape my brows. The problem is, I'm still not full time and am not yet ready to be until I'm a little more established at my new job. My question is, will brow plucking be a drastic, noticeable change that will immediately out me as transgender? Should I just pluck them gradually over time?

I'm also concerned about messing up. I've never plucked my brows before and I know they can take a while to grow back. So if I mess up and it looks strange, it'll be stuck that way for a while. Should I go ahead and give it a try? Or should I hold off on brow plucking until I'm ready to go full time?

YES.

Not sure if it will out you as trans, but it may raise an eyebrow or two, pun intended. MOst people might think you're gay, because you know, being trans is exactly the same as being gay.

Do it gradually, I have and now have very female brows... however as it occurred over time, apart from a few comments, has not actually put me on the spot at all....

Slowly but surely. You will be surprised at what some people accept is normal for you if you don't make drastic drastic changes. (Going from long hair to short hair overnight will be noticed. Getting an inch or two cut once a month not so much)

Visit a salon they know what they're doing.  Maybe get them trimmed for a little while then reshaped in a more feminine style. This way your coworkers mental image of you is slowly changing.  The odd knuckle dragging neanderthal may make a comment or a highly observant female wanting to know where you got them done. But will it out you as transgender no, not unless they have an idea in the first place

I did mine over the coarse of like two weeks.I thinned them and trimmed
Then I did a slight arch
Then eventually got them in a decent shape
Now I have them looking pretty nice if you ask me.
I kept them full length so I don't have to pencil and this way I still can go in public as a male and no one look at me.
But the are about the same as mila kunis without any penciling.
My mom said she noticed but just thought I was grooming them.
I have very thick eyebrows naturally so groom tweezing all that isn't unexpected for me.
Watch some YouTube tutorials do it over time and try to maintain structural integrety while making them as feminine as possible

I just brush up and trim slightly. And shave off a little off the outer ends to get a little Audrey Hepburn. I then brush the inner ends up like Madonna. Then brush up the arch part up like Marilyn Monroe. Then throw a little vitamin e gloss on my eyelids

I recommend getting your eyebrows threaded. Works great, lasts for weeks, and can be shaped how you like it. It's painful the first time but less painful each subsequent time.

I'm in the same position as you, needing to keep them somewhere inbetween right now.  And one thing working in our favor is that it's fashionable right now for women to have slightly thicker eyebrows.  So you don't have to go too drastic to get into the female range. 

I thinned mine up a bit from the bottom up, and then a bit more at the arch.  And I was pleasantly surprised at how big a difference a couple millimeters can make.  I thought for sure I'd need a brow lift, but I really don't. 

When I'm ready to jump in with both feet I'll thin them just a tad more and widen the space between them.

I wasnt planning on it you know, but now I sort of think well, fk it, gay guys do it all the time, who cares? No shame till brooklyn!
But i definitely think get a pro to do it.

Less likely to "miss-pluck" - done that a few times and takes time and patience to fix up... one brow hair at a time 
Threading, waxing and good old fashion plucking all work, all last for approx. 2 to 4 weeks depending on your regrowth time

I still pluck, can't be bothered with cost and effort to go and sit in a salon
