Yesterday at work I was helping a customer with something and he started talking crap about my painted nails and earrings. He didn't go far enough for me to involve management and get him kicked out of the store but he did make me feel bad. That's the unhappy part.  >:(
I felt empowered enough to tell him his attitude was pretty crappy and to have a rotten day. That's the happy part.  ;D

@Thea
Dear Thea:
What you reported regarding your customer is a sad statement of how some people can ridicule, insult and treat others.

I know it is easy for me to say, but we can not control how others treat us, BUT we do have control of how we react.

I trust that your day today at work is better than yesterday. :) :) :)

Thank you for sharing, posting.... and venting...
Hugs and best wishes,
Danielle

That was not nice for him to say.  People can be so thoughtless.  This mean talk on his part was something beyond your control.  Yuck is what I say about his actions.

Keep cheerful and smile.   :)

Hugs,

Chrissy

Last week, I was finally able to have my front teeth capped.

But over the weekend I somehow chipped one.  So now I have to go back and have it repaired.  I'm only glad that it doesn't hurt!

OH NO !!!!      I hope that it doesn't cost the same to repair it as it did for the new cap/crown that you had your dentist put on last week.

The good news is that it doesn't cause you any pain right now.
Hmmmm, "painless Dentistry"  .... it is a LIE !!! ;) :o

It might be best for you to not chew on nails any more!!!! ;D

Wishing you well,
HUGS,
Danielle

Honestly, the shot they gave me to numb my mouth hurt WAY more than the actual procedure did!  :-\  The dentist said that most people don't even need anything for pain, but my pain resistance is stupid-low, so I had to get the shot.  ugh.  It HURT!

My current state has a program that pays for a couple of basic dental procedures, so I didn't have to pay a dime.  OTOH, I also need a root canal done in order to try and save a molar, and I also want a implanted tooth on the other side.  So I applied for and got just enough credit from care credit to be able to pay for these procedures.

I hear that they also cover surgeries.  Wonder if they would cover liposuction, I have a spare tire I'd like to get rid of....

I had 3 job interviews this past week after job hunting for
6 weeks and multiple interviews.  This week is different though
I took a different approach to my interviews.
The result is 3 job offers and I'm stuck deciding all clean jobs
So I'm both happy because I was pre transition the last time this happened
And it awesome having that happen again one wanted to hire me on the spot.

I'm unhappy though that instead of having 1 offer all 3 companies made me
An offer. Yesterday..

So I guess I'm going to get an Americano from my
Favourite coffee shop near my house walk down to the ocean
And try and think this threw

@Michelledeanna1989
This all sounds like good *and happy* NEWS to me.

When you do you have to make your decision about which offer you are going to accept? ???

Thank you for sharing,

My younger brother had his third baby this weekend.  They're a happy and healthy baby!

So the fam were all talking in the group text about the baby and talking in general, and one of my sisters came on and deadnamed me.  I corrected her, so she said "I refuse to use that name.  I'll call you "hey you" or "you there" instead.

So I decided that I'm going to do the same to her.

My new family member is gorgeous though!

I guess this is happy-unhappy-angry-happy.

What made me happy is that I'm finally taking steps to transition...but the thought of all the turmoil a transition would bring with it makes me unhappy.

It's a very confusing time!
Finally started the process of becoming who I really am on the inside! 5/20/19

<lurker mode off>  ;)

Yesterday I went to a Club with a friend and when we arrived the female bouncer asked us if we are men, I told her no but I was honest and calmly explained ourselves and that the chosen wording of the question was offending and gave advice on how to better handle such a situation in the future) we were allowed to enter as females.

I met an amazing guy there and it was mind blowing  >:-)

So unhappy for getting clocked (but not sure if it was me, her or us both - in the end it doesn't matter) but very happy about the good experience of the rest of the night!  ;D

Can't stop thinking about it so I had to share

Was at the German consulate in Miami today, to apply for my new passport with my new name and gender marker.
Everything went amazing well, and was approved.  That means that I am now for the entire EU Linde XXX with the gender marker F!
The bad thing is that the consulate is smack down town Miami, and traffic flow and management seems to be no know there.  I encountered traffic problems, which I can only compare with Naples, Italy.  Traffic in Chicago, New York, Rome Italy, or Paris France, is child's play with the situation in Miami!

What made me happy recently was the nice birthday gift I received from my sweetie. She gave me a really comfy and nice sleep gown.

What made me unhappy recently was that my E became more costly.

The pluses outweigh the negatives though.  That is good!
